After moving to Detroit from his native Italy, chef Pierino Guglielmetti and his wife began working in their kitchen to create the most delicious ravioli possible. Once their recipe was perfected, they started selling their product to restaurants and specialty stores in the area. From there, Pierino Frozen Foods was born. Now 50 years later, Pierino has grown to become the leading manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of gourmet frozen pasta, serving restaurants, food service firms and supermarkets nation-wide.

Operating out of a 30,000 sq ft facility in Lincoln Park, Mich., Pierino’s cooking, flash-freezing, inspection, packaging and shipment departments are all under one roof. Using the freshest, highest quality ingredients available and state-of-the-art equipment, Pierino ensures each recipe is perfectly executed. Whether it’s spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna or linguini, every batch is expertly mixed, carefully cooked and perfectly packaged to seal in freshness and flavor. Once complete, each batch goes through careful inspections to guarantee customers receive the freshness and flavor they deserve.

Today, Pierino continues to grow and expand, adding new products and capabilities to serve their diverse customer base. No matter how big they become, they still remain a proud family firm, committed to producing the best, most flavorful and wholesome pasta products anywhere.
